Hysteroscopic Copper T Removal
Hysteroscopic Copper T Removal is a procedure used to remove an intrauterine device (IUD), such as the Copper T, when:
- The threads are not visible or
- The device is embedded, malpositioned, or stuck inside the uterus.
This procedure is performed using a hysteroscope, a thin, lighted tube that allows the gynaecologist to see inside the uterus.

- Copper T is displaced or embedded in the uterine wall
- Removal with forceps has failed
